The Asian food was introduced in In the U.S. mid 1800s when Chinese immigrants from Canton began settling in California. When the meal is consumed mainly by the Chinese community. It was not until after World War II Asian cuisine (especially Chinese, Japanese and Polynesian) has attracted the attention of the general American public. By coincidence, this period marks also the genesis of fusion cooking, the convergence of fresh, exotic flavors and interesting textures. Where can I find Japanese cooking classes?

Specifically, San Francisco, California ... Just look for short courses. I am very interested to learn, but I do not intend to be a leader. I just want to know if I can cook Japanese food for my family and friends.

I know a book that has been received very authentic Japanese style cuisine. It is so good that the Japanese population in the U.S. I could not wait for the book launch in the United States. But do not worry, this does not mean it is difficult to obtain because many people do not know not.
